By public transport

Stadshart Amstelveen has excellent public transport connections. Bus routes from around the region run through the Amstelveen bus station adjacent to the shopping centre. There are excellent bus links with Hoofddorp, Haarlem, Uithoorn, Aalsmeer, Mijdrecht, the city centre of Amsterdam and Schiphol airport. There is a direct connection the city centre of Amsterdam with tramlines 5 and 51.
